Teide Tour + Ascend to Mount Teide by Cable Car | Visit Spain's Highest Peak
Ascend over 3,500 meters on this Teide excursion, including a cable car ride and pickups from various points in southern Tenerife.
Itinerary We'll pick you up from designated spots and head to Teide National Park, home to Spain’s highest peak!
Starting at the base of the volcano, we'll board the cable car at 2,356 meters. Enjoy a peaceful 10-minute ride with views of ancient volcanic landscapes.
At the summit, over 3,500 meters high, you'll have an hour of free time to enjoy.
You decide which views to admire and which audioguide tracks to explore (Official guide available in Spanish, English, German, Italian, Dutch, and French.)
- Enjoy the stunning landscapes of Siete Cañadas and the Ucanca Valley from the La Rambleta viewpoint.
- Walk along the La Fortaleza trail to experience the incredible scenery of northern Tenerife.
- Venture to the Pico Viejo Viewpoint, where you’ll be greeted by breathtaking views of the island’s southern region, the impressive 800-meter-wide crater of Pico Viejo, and, on clear days, the neighboring islands of La Gomera, El Hierro, and La Palma stretching across the horizon.
After an hour, we'll descend and visit the Roques de García, famous for their Martian-like landscape. Enjoy breathtaking views of Llano de Ucanca from the rock formations.
The tour ends with drop-off at your initial pickup point after seven hours.

Important The cable car is not suitable for people with cardiovascular issues, pregnant women, or those with reduced mobility.
We recommend wearing appropriate footwear, warm clothing, sunglasses, and bringing water if you plan to walk a lot. Remember that you are at a high altitude, and weather conditions can be more extreme up there.
As an additional note, the visitor center located at the base station features a souvenir shop and a restaurant café with panoramic views.

Individuals with cardiovascular issues, pregnant women, and those with reduced mobility are not permitted to ride the cable car because of the altitude risk. Children under 6 years old are also not allowed.
Animals are not allowed, except guide dogs and therapy dogs.
Large suitcases or bags are not allowed.
Minors under 16 years old are not allowed without adult supervision.
Inappropriate footwear is not permitted on the excursion.
